The XXIII Edition of the International Festival that will take place on November 25, 26 and 27, 2020 will have an online format and will maintain everything that has always made El Ojo the most important festival on the planet with a Latin perspective. Below, El Ojo presents the new confirmed speakers arriving at El Ojo 2020: Luiz Sanches, Chairman and CCO of Almap BBDO With 30 years of experience, Luiz Sanches is Chairman and CCO of Almap BBDO, where he has worked for 27 years.
Almap BBDO has just been named by the Cannes Festival of Creativity as “#1 Global Agency of the Decade”, for the 142 Lions won in the period (2010 to 2019), in addition to the three Agency of the Year trophies Email Data in the decade (2010, 2011 and 2016). Luiz Sanches is an Art Director by training and in 2013 he became one of the agency's partners. Today, he is part of the international board of BBDO. He is the most awarded Brazilian in the world, winning 184 Lions in his career at the Cannes Festival, in addition to 63 Pencils at the D&AD. On two occasions he was named creative director with the best performance in Cannes, a position he also obtained in the Gunn Report. In 2021, he will be a Cannes Lions jury for the fifth time, the second being as President (Film and Outdoor). He won the title of best creative director in the world by the Gunn Report ranking. He is among the best creatives of the decade according to LatinSpots. He actively serves on the board of directors of The One Club for Creativity in New York and on the creative board of Google.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in launching memorable campaigns, not only in creativity, but in business results for his clients. He also helped build one of the most important cases of his career, which is the success of Almap itself, one of the most awarded agencies in the world. Paula Marconi – Vice President of Marketing at Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes Paula joined the company almost 4 years ago as Brahma brand director , where she visually and conceptually relaunched the brand's proposal with excellent results. Then, throughout 2019, she assumed the responsibility of leading the opening and operation of draftLine in Argentina, the in-house creative studio of Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes. As of December of last year, she assumed the role of Vice President of Marketing for the company's beer portfolio. Before joining the Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes team, Paula worked in agencies, television multimedia and at Unilever, where she spent a large part of her career, holding different positions in Argentina, Latin America, Europe and Global.
